Pink floral lampshade

A stunning 'One of a kind' lampshade.

Handmade in the traditional way, I bound the frame before pinning and sewing the pink, green and mauve floral cotton fabric to it. The lining is plain white. The shade is trimmed with a deep pink gimp braid at the top and a matching  4'" pink fringe at the bottom, and will add a touch of elegant luxury to any room. 

The frame is a 14" oval empire shape, meaning it is narrower when viewed side on, and sweeps outwards towards the bottom.

Both the lining and the outer have been treated with a fire-retardant spray, though I would always recommend using LED bulbs as they produce much less heat than others and therefore pose less of a fire risk.
